Sport Singapore (SportSG) has appointed SG Marathon Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Betterment Sports and SCORE Sports, as the new promoter for Singapore’s national marathon.
The event, which traces its roots back to the 1980s, has become a marquee event for the regional running community. Held on the first weekend of December annually, it brings thousands of runners and supporters to the streets of Singapore for a weekend of road racing and celebration of the city’s sporting spirit.
With a growing community and interest in endurance sports, the team at SG Marathon aims to make Singapore’s national marathon one of the rallying points for Southeast Asia’s running community.
